Randall Productions is developing an hour for PBS/NOVA about the Vera C. Rubin Observatory

Randall Productions is following the development and first few months of operation of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. With the largest digital camera ever built, Rubin will scan the entire southern hemisphere’s night sky, taking a 3200-megabyte image every night for the next 10 years, creating an ultra-wide, ultra-high-definition time-lapse recording of the Universe—a movie of the cosmos in action. With this one of a kind telescope researchers hope to shed light on one of the biggest mysteries in cosmology: What is Dark Energy?

What Are UFOs?

Aired on PBS/NOVA, January 22, 2025, 9PM EST 8PM CDT
